Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa is grounded in te ao Māori, including the physical design of the building. This unique spa and wellness experience gives you an authentic taste of manaakitanga which is the centuries-old and internationally-renowned Ngāti Whakaue concept of welcoming their manuhiri (visitors). The interior and exterior materials were specifically and consciously selected to bring a natural and ‘earthy’ feel.
